He was able to address my concerns and informed me that my Griot's Garage 11023 Ultra-Thick Microfiber Towel was received today and will be processed for shipping today or tomorrow and that I should receive the unit some time next week. I was unaware that the unit was not in stock when I ordered it but I was made aware that it is clearly stated on their web-site that additional processing time is needed. I made my payment through Amazon payments and it was explained that that was why my credit card was charged so soon, without the unit being shipped yet. Overall I would say that I am satisfied with the response of the customer service at Amazon.com and that my initial displeasure has been abated. I ordered a Griot's Garage 11023 Ultra-Thick Microfiber Towel and I still have not received a tracking number on the order, because it has not shipped yet. They charged my credit card rather quickly though.
